Question: Who are Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaa'ah?
Answer: Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaa'ah are those that adhere and
join according to the Sunnah , not follow other traditions, or believe in other matters of belief and in the affairs of the shares. Therefore, for this reason they are called 'Ahlus Sunnah' (the people of the Sunnah) because they adhere strictly to that.
And they are called 'Al-Jamaa'ah' because they join together accordingly.

However, if you were to consider the status of 'Ahlul Bid'ah' (people of innovation), are differences in beliefs and to which they adhere on both of their methodologies in belief as in their methodology with respect to the practical implementation of religion. This shows that they are far from the Sunnah and its distance is measured relative to the amount of innovation.
